One man is dead and three people are injured after a shooting at an apartment complex in Dallas Thursday morning.
The gunfire started at the Aspen Chase Apartments off Ferguson Road at about 12:30 a.m.
Police discovered one man shot to death in the breezeway. A woman and two other men were inside a first floor apartment, all wounded by the gunfire.
The three surviving shooting victims were rushed to area hospitals; at least one of the victims was in serious condition.
Police say it does not look like the gunman had to break down the apartment door to get in.
Authorities believe the gunman knew the victims.
Officials are working to get more information about the shooter's description.
